A member of Jenny Lewis’ all-female touring band, Nolan is an in-demand co-writer, vocalist, and touring musician for artists like Katie Pruitt, Joy Oladokun, Lydia Luce, and more.
Her new single “Emergency Landing” is a plea to have compassion for our own needs. “We live in a world that glamorizes the grind and doesn’t prioritize rest,” Jess explains. “Taking days off and spending time alone helps me show up more fully for the people around me. Instead of viewing it as selfish, I now see it as a sacred step in community care.”
