About the song and music video: "We wanted to create a piece that would illustrate how we can be veiled in life in seemingly mundane ways, with layers of clothing representing our masked identities, but also point to a world of wonder and truth that’s often hidden underneath these layers. I think we can tend to feel that the ways we do or don’t do things in our daily lives are what define us, but what if we took those layers off and dug a little deeper into who we are from the inside out? If we can take this step toward introspection and throw away the labels we associate with ourselves, we might feel a little more able to unveil the notion that we are so much more than the stories we tell on the outside."
