NYC-based duo Bitch and Animal dish out a sexually charged mix of socially conscious music and politically daring performance art, laced with biting wit and a provocative twist. Or as they describe it, “tribal chick hoedown funk poetry with a political wedge and bass line edge.” Between them, these two play ten instruments, from violin and African drums to tap shoes, nails and ukulele.

Their Righteous Babe Records' debut, Eternally Hard, was produced by Ani DiFranco and Wayne “Dutch Boy” Schrengohst. Ani also lends vocal harmonies and electric guitar to the grrrls’ recipe for a robust gumbo of multi-layered mayhem.
